WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team dropped its first BIG EAST road match of the season with a 3-0 (25-23, 25- 13, 25-16) loss at Villanova on Wednesday night. The Hoyas fall to 4-12 overall and 0-5 in league play while the Wildcats improve to 10-7 overall and 2-3 in conference action.=
"Peyton was on fire today," Head Coach
David Heller said. "She brought her game to another level and helped us get out of some tough rotations. Villanova served really aggressively and took us out of system and made things difficult for our middles to get involved. Jess added another solid performance and tried to provide some stability for our back court. There were some really long rallies tonight and we lost a bit of momentum when we lost that first set. But we have another opportunity to respond with UConn on Saturday."
