WASHINGTON – Georgetown University football seniors Ibrahim Kamara and Joshua Tomas have been named Patriot League Honorable Mention as announced by the league office on Monday. The awards recognize their performances in GU's home tilt against Lafayette over the weekend.

Ibrahim Kamara

• Kamara was a huge presence for the Hoyas on the defensive line this weekend against Lafayette.

• He set a career-high in sacks, recording two on the day. 

Joshua Tomas

• Tomas set a career-high in receiving yards with a total of 137 on the afternoon.

• His longest reception of the day went for 41 yards on a pass from Pierce Holly in which Tomas tallied his lone score. 

• The senior wideout brought in seven receptions on nine targets for an average 19.6 yards per catch.

• The Blue & Gray will return to Cooper Field on Nov. 6 for Senior Day and its final home contest of 2021 when Fordham comes to town. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m.
