WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team returns to the Nation's Capital to close out the home portion of its 2021 schedule with a pair of matches this weekend. The Hoyas welcome No. 23 Creighton to the Hilltop on Friday at 2 p.m. before battling Providence on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. on Senior Day.

Scouting Creighton
- The Bluejays are 24-3 and 12-2 in BIG EAST play.
- Creighton has won seven-straight since a five-set loss to UConn on October 16.
- Georgetown and CU faced earlier this season with Creighton winning 3-0 at home in Omaha.
- Jaela Zimmerman leads the Bluejays with 3.82 kps while Norah Sis adds 3.65.
- Kendra Wait paces the offense with 10.57 assists per set.
- Defensively, Naomi Hickman and Annika Welty average 1.22 and 1.13 bps, respectively.

Scouting Providence
- The Friars are 15-12 and 3-11 in BIG EAST play.
- Providence is 4-0 since defeating Georgetown 3-0 on October 24.
- The Friars play at Villanova on Friday before heading down to the District.
- Shaliyah Rhoden leads PC with 3.24 kps while Emma Nelson and Emma Fink add 2.25 and 2.13 kps, respectively.
- Allison Barber runs the offense with 9.46 assists per set.
- Defensively, Mackenzie Taylor hauls in 3.33 dps with Barber adding 3.01.
- Providence's top threat at the net is Sasha Rudich with 0.69 bps.

Following the weekend's action, the Hoyas hit the road for one last road trip at Marquette and DePaul to wrap up the campaign.
