WASHINGTON – Georgetown University Head Women's Basketball Coach
James Howard announced the signing of four student-athletes to National Letters of Intent for the 2022-23 season. They will come to GU in the fall of 2022 for Howard who is currently in his fifth season on the Hilltop.

Prior to Georgetown: Ranked #74 overall by ESPN Hoopgurlz and is #17 at her position … A two-year captain and starter at New Hope Academy … The 2020-21 MaxPreps Maryland Player of the Year … Averaged 16.4 points, 4.7 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 3.8 steals per game while shooting 38.3 percent from 3-point distance as a junior … Team won the 2020 IE National Championship … A three-year starter and captain for Boo Williams.
Howard on Fauntleroy: "We are excited to have Kennedy join the Hoya family. She will bring great leadership skills and a high basketball IQ to the point guard position. She is a triple-threat player who can score from all three levels on the court. She is known as a good on-ball defender who takes pride in her defense. We are looking forward to her making an immediate impact."

Prior to Georgetown: A four-year starter and two-year captain at Kent School … Two-time team MVP … Named an NEPSAC All-Star Class A as a freshman and sophomore … Averaged 15.2 ppg and 11.0 rpg as a freshman and 20.4 ppg and 12.4 rpg her sophomore season … Also a starter on the volleyball team … Member of the high honor roll.
Howard on Lee: "Morgan is a player with an extremely high basketball IQ as well as an ability to score from the blocks and stretch you out to the 3-point line. Standing at 6'5, she is a tremendous passer who gets her teammates involved and is such a great team player. We are looking forward to watching her continue to grow as a player as well as her impact in the BIG EAST Conference."

Howard on McConnell: "Modesti is known as a 3-point shooter with range out to the NBA line. She shoots the ball with great accuracy and confidence. She has a great basketball IQ as well as the ability to create space to get her shot off. We are looking forward to her having an immediate impact within the program."
