WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-16) on the road at Marquette in BIG EAST action on Friday night in Milwaukee. The Hoyas fall to 7-21 overall and 3-14 in league play while the Golden Eagles improve to 24-4 overall and 15-2 in the conference.
 
Hoya Highlights

• Mary Grace Goyena led the Hoyas with 11 kills while Elissa Barbosa added seven and Makana Meyer had six.
• Jessica Cusi collected a match-high 17 digs to go with six assists.
• Makayla Serrett led the Hoyas with three blocks and added four kills as well.
• Emma Plutnicki recorded 22 assists in the loss.

 
Marquette Notes

• Jenna Reitsma and Savannah Rennie both led the Golden Eagles with 11 kills each.
• Claire Mosher paced the offense with 20 assists while Taylor Wolf added 13 to go with 16 digs for a double-double.
• Carly Skrabak had 13 digs and Wolf led Marquette with three blocks.
