WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team carded a 100-over par 964 to finish sixth at the 2021 BIG EAST Championship Presented by Jeep. Three Hoyas placed among the top 20 in the field. The Championship was played at the par-72, 7,047-yard The Club at Gateway in Fort Myers, Florida.
 
HOYA HIGHLIGHTS

• Freshman Gabriella Gilrowski, playing in her first collegiate event, led the Hoyas with a 14th-place finish at 16-over par 232. She turned in a 76 during Sunday's final round to move up in the standings.
• Senior Elizabeth Nguyen and freshman Megan Gormley finished in a tie for 18th place with scores of 19-over par 235.
• Sophomore Elena Zheng and junior Baili Park rounded out the team, placing 29th and 30th, respectively.

 
WHERE THEY FINISHED

• Xavier won the Championship with a 27-over par 891.
• Seton Hall, Creighton, St. John's and Butler rounded out the top five.
