No. 2/3 Hoyas Hit the Road at Syracuse

WASHINGTON – The No. 2/3 Georgetown University men's soccer team (2-0) will travel to Syracuse, New York for a 7 p.m. matchup against the Orange. The game will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra with Brian Higgins and Dean Foti calling the match.

About the Hoyas
  • Georgetown is 2-0 to start the 2021 season after a successful weekend at Shaw Field.
  • On Friday, the Hoyas managed a 2-1 victory over UC Irvine. The game was pushed to Friday after inclement weather forced a postponement Thursday afternoon.
  • Freshman Ronan Dillow and sophomore John Franks both scored in the victory marking career firsts for the two Hoyas.
  • Two days later, GU was at it again as the Blue & Gray defeated then-No. 23/24 Fordham 4-0 on Shaw.

  • Sophomore forward Deandre Kerr was named to the 2021 ACC Men's Soccer Preseason Watch List. He was the leading goal scorer for the Orange during the 2020 season.
