WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University and Columbia University football programs will play the sixth rendition of the Lou Little Trophy series when they meet on Saturday afternoon at Columbia's Robert K. Kraft Field at Lawrence A. Wien Stadium. The
Lou Little Trophy, which stays with the winner until the following year's contest, honors College Football Hall of Fame Head Coach Lou Little who coached at both Georgetown and Columbia.
Overall, Georgetown and Columbia have met seven times in their history, with the Lions holding an all-time 4-3 series advantage. The Georgetown Hoyas hold a 3-2 advantage in Lou Little Trophy games. After the first meeting in 1901, the two programs did not face each other on the gridiron again until 2006.

- The Hoyas come in with a 1-1 record after a defeat last weekend against Harvard.
- Senior Cameron Crayton was selected as Patriot League Honorable Mention after pulling in seven receptions for 115 yards in last week's game against Harvard.
- Starting quarterback Joseph Brunell finished 20-of-37 passing for 249 yards and touchdown pass against Harvard. Brunell has 446 yards passing and three passing touchdowns through the first two games of the season.

Scouting Columbia
- Columbia opened its season last weekend with a 37-14 home victory against Marist, holding Marist scoreless for the rest of the game after the first quarter.
- Columbia rushed for a total of 19 first downs by way of 312 yards on the ground.
- Last weekend against Marist, Columbia had two 90+ yard rushers in the game as Dante Miller rushed for 118 yards and Ryan Young rushed for 98.
