About the Hoyas

  • In the 90th minute, a bad pass went to sophomore Marlon Tabora who dribbled into the box and fed it to classmate John Franks. He fired and it was saved by Paul Kruse but the rebound came back to Tabora who found the back of the net stunning the Bluejays and giving the Hoyas the 2-1 victory.
  • For his efforts, Tabora was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after notching the his first-career goal on the Hilltop.
  • The men's and women's soccer programs were recognized by the United Soccer Coaches organization each receiving the 2020-21 College Team Academic Award marking GU's 15th recognition by the organization and the Hoyas' seventh year in a row receiving the award.
