Oliver Stafford, as well as junior
Tate Lampman, were selected by their coaches and teammates to lead the 2026 squad.
Matthew Helfrich
Midfielder
McLean, Va. / McLean
- Helfrich started all 22 games on the backline for the Hoyas in 2025 and tallied four assists on the year.
- Helfrich was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on October 6.
- He was part of a backline that managed 11 shutouts on the season.
- He is a three-time BIG EAST All-Academic and was selected as College Sports Communicators (CSC) Second Team Academic All-American in 2024.
Oliver Stafford
Defender
Katonah, N.Y. / Fordham Prep
- Stafford appeared in 16 games with 14 starts to his credit.
- The defender tallied two goals, including one game winner, for four points on the season.
- He was part of a backline that managed 11 shutouts on the season.
- Stafford is a three-time BIG EAST All-Academic selection.
Tate Lampman
Defender
Ann Arbor, Mich. / Pioneer
- Lampman started in all 13 games he appeared in this past season as the Hoyas won the BIG EAST Regular Season Championship, the BIG EAST Championship and advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals.
- He had two goals, one being a game winner, and two assists for six points on the year.
- The defender missed nine games this past season due to injury.
- Last spring, he was called into the U.S. Under-19 Men's National Team camp in Marbella, Spain and the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team camp this past January.
- In his first year on the Hilltop, he was the 2024 BIG EAST Freshman of the Year and a Third Team All-BIG EAST honoree.
