WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team wrapped up play at the two-day Princeton Invitational finishing in eighth place with a 72-hole score of 39-over par 903. The Hoyas carded rounds of 298, 297 and 308 at the par 72, 6,134-yard Springdale Golf Club.
HOYA RESULTS

Freshman Sophie Dalfonsi carded a total score of 234 with scores of 78, 75 and 81 in her second ever collegiate tournament.

Junior Elena Zheng played in her first tournament of the season and finished with a total score of 232 including a 77 in the final round.

Sophomore Megan Gormley was GU's top finisher carding a 8-over par 224 to finish tied for 18th place.

Junior Lauren May turned in scores of 74, 72 and 80 in her first tournament of the season.

Senior Kaitlyn Lees carded a total score of 225 including scores of 72, 76 and 77.
TOURNAMENT LEADERS

Host Princeton won the Princeton Invitational with an even under par 864. Columbia placed second (+15, 879) followed by Seton Hall (+19, 883) to round out the top three.

The Hoyas finish just behind Harvard (+35, 899) and ahead of Dartmouth (+42, 906).
