WASHINGTON – Following the first day of play at the 2021 Nittany Lion Invitational, the Georgetown University women's golf team sits in 11th place carding a 36-hole score of 19-over par 595. The Hoyas were 10th after the first round, but fell to 11th after the second 18 holes. The tournament is being played at the par 72, 6,167-yard Penn State White Course.
HOYAS LINEUP

Freshman Sophie Dalfonsi turned in five birdies in her second round and is currently tied for 14th place at 1-over par 145.

Sophomore Gabriella Gilrowski finished 5-over par and classmate Megan Gormley carded a two-round score of 154.

Junior Esther Park turned in rounds of 82 and 76.

Senior Kaitlyn Lees is currently tied for 48th place after finishing with scores of 75 and 76.

Sophomore Dana Choi is playing as an individual and turned in rounds of 76 and 78.
TOURNAMENT LEADERS

Penn State leads the 14-team field with a 9-under par 567. Delaware sits in second place (576) and Seton Hall and James Madison are tied for third (580).

Georgetown is currently three strokes behind Rutgers and UPenn who are tied at 592.
