WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team wrapped up play at the two-day Nittany Lion Invitational finishing in seventh place with a 72-hole score of 20-over par 884. The Hoyas carded rounds of 300, 295 and 289 at the par 72, 6,167-yard Penn State White Course.
HOYA RESULTS

Freshman Sophie Dalfonsi was GU's top finisher carding a 2-under par 214 to finish tied for seventh place. She turned in scores of 77, 68 and 69 in her first ever collegiate tournament.

Sophomores Gabriella Gilrowski and Megan Gormley finished the tournament carding scores of 74 and 72 in the final round of play.

Junior Esther Park finished with a 232 including a 72 on Sunday.

Sophomore Dana Choi played as an individual and finished with a 230.
TOURNAMENT LEADERS

The host Penn State won the Nittany Lion Invitational with a 13-under par 851. Delaware placed second (-1, 863) followed by Princeton (+5, 869) to round out the top three.

The Hoyas finish just behind James Madison (+13, 877) and ahead of Towson (+25, 889)

The Hoyas Sunday score of 289 is now tied for the 3rd best 18 hole score in program history and the Hoyas total score of 884 is now tied for the 2nd best 54 hole performance in program history. Additionally Sophie Dalfonsi's 54 hole total of 214 is now the 2nd best 54 hole score in program history.
