WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-15, 25-9, 25-12) decision on the road at UConn in BIG EAST action on Saturday. The Hoyas fall to 4-15 overall and 2-6 in league play while the Huskies improve to 9-10 overall and 3-5 in conference action.
 
Hoya Highlights

• Brennan Wilhite led the Hoyas with six kills and hit at a solid .417 clip.
• Giselle Williams added four kills and both Chanelle Smith and Mary Grace Goyena had three.
• Emma Plutnicki posted 18 assists for the Blue & Gray.
• Defensively, Karis Park hauled eight digs to lead the Hoyas.
• At the net, both Goyena and Smith were credited with two blocks apiece.

UConn Notes

• Jasmine Davis led the Huskies with 14 kills.
• Sammie Ruggles posted a double-double with 29 assists and 15 digs.
• On the back row, Karly Berkland led UConn with 10 digs.
• At the net, Taylor Pannell and Allie Garland had four blocks each.
