WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team wrapped up a four-match homestand with a 3-2 (22-25, 25-17, 25-27, 25-12, 15-9) loss to visiting Providence in BIG EAST action on Saturday afternoon. The Hoyas fall to 4-19 overall and 2-10 in league play while the Friars improve to 11-13 overall and 3-9 in BIG EAST play.

- Emma Nelson led the Friars with 19 kills while Shaliyah Rhoden added 11.
- Sammie Ruggles had 26 assists and 11 digs for a double-double while fellow setter Brielle Mullally added 24 assists and 17 digs for a double-double as well.
- Defensively, Taylor Mackenzie led Providence with 23 digs. Caroline LaMacchia had 12 as well.
- At the net, Sasha Rudich had four blocks with Maryanne Boyle adding three.

The Hoyas head to the Midwest next weekend, taking on No. 16 Marquette on Friday in Milwaukee and DePaul on Saturday in Chicago.
