WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 (25-21, 25-22, 25-20, 25-16) decision on the road at Seton Hall on Friday night. The Hoyas fall to 4-24 overall and 2-15 in league play while the Pirates improve to 15-14 overall and 9-8 in BIG EAST play.
 
Hoya Highlights

• Mary Grace Goyena led Georgetown with 11 kills while Brennan Wilhite added 10 and Giselle Williams had nine.
• Peyton Wilhite chipped in seven kills while Chanelle Smith tallied five.
• Emma Plutnicki posted 39 assists to pace the Blue & Gray.
• Defensively, Karis Park hauled in 20 digs.
• At the net, Wilhite led the Blue & Gray with five blocks while Williams was credited with three.

Seton Hall Notes

• Jenna Walsh led the Pirates with 18 kills while Laila Wallace added 16.
• Madison Klungel led SHU with 22 assists and Taylor Jakubowski posted a double-double with 19 assists and 11 digs.
• Faith LaMacchia hauled in 11 digs as well.
• Three different Seton Hall players were credited with three blocks on the night.
