Box Score WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team closed out the 2022 season with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 26-24) loss at St. John's on Sunday afternoon. The Hoyas fall to 4-25 overall and 2-16 in league play while the Red Storm improve to 19-12 overall and 10-8 in BIG EAST play.
 
Hoya Highlights

• Giselle Williams led Georgetown with 14 kills while Brennan Wilhite added eight, Mary Grace Goyena chipped in seven and Peyton Wilhite tallied six.
• Emma Plutnicki paced the offence with 29 assists to go with a team-high eight digs.
• Defensively, Karis Park hauled in seven digs while both Peyton Wilhite and Jessica Cusi added six.
• At the net, Chanelle Smith led the Blue & Gray with eight blocks while Peyton Wilhite was credited with five.
• As a team, the Hoyas outblocked St. John's 11-6 on the day.

St. John's Notes

• Lucrezia Lodi and Rachele Rastelli each had 15 kills to lead the Red Storm. Giorgia Walther added 12.
• Lodi added 11 digs for a double-double.
• Wiktoria Kowalczyk dished out 34 assists for the Johnnies.
• Defensively, Bree Martin led all players with a match-high 20 digs.
• Ludovica Zola led SJU with five blocks.
