ABOUT THE HOYAS
  • The Hoyas enter Saturday's game with a 3-3 record after a 74-70 setback against American on Wednesday. The shorthanded Hoyas, playing without second-leading scorer Brandon Murray, struggled to find offense in the second half and couldn't hold off the surging American squad.

  • Akok grabs 8.2 rpg to lead the squad while Wahab chips in 7.2 rpg.
  • For his efforts last week in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Qudus Wahab was named to the Jersey Mike's Jamaica Classic All-Tournament Team last Sunday. Over two games, he averaged 17.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg and shot 62.5% from the floor, including a career-best 23 point effort to hold off La Salle in the consolation game.

ABOUT THE RETRIEVERS
