WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team heads the Midwest to take on a pair of BIG EAST foes for the first time this season this weekend. Hoyas head to Milwaukee to face No. 17 Marquette on Friday before taking on DePaul on Saturday in Chicago.

About the Hoyas
- Georgetown (4-19, 2-10 BIG EAST) is coming off a pair of home losses in league play. The Hoyas fell 3-0 to UConn before dropping a five-set marathon to Providence.
- Mary Grace Goyena leads the Hoyas with 3.08 kills per set while Giselle Williams and Ruth Kayongo add 2.31 and 2.07 kps, respectively.
- Emma Plutnicki quarterbacks the offense with 7.62 assists per set.
- Defensively, four Hoyas average at least two digs a frame led by Karis Park with 4.29 digs per set. Plutnicki and Jessica Cusi add 2.49 and 2.15 dps, respectively, while Goyena is good for 2.10 dps.

- Marquette is 20-2 on the season, 11-1 in BIG EAST play, and is ranked No. 17 in the most recent AVCA Coaches Poll. The Golden Eagles are coming off a 3-2 win at DePaul and a 3-0 sweep over Butler last week.
- Aubrey Hamilton leads Marquette with 3.30 kills per set while Jenna Reitsma adds 2.73 kps.
- Yadhira Anchante paces the offense with 10.73 aps.
- Defensively, Carly Skrabak anchors the back row with 4.46 digs per set while Carsen Murray is the top threat at the net with 1.20 bps.
Scouting DePaul
- Saturday's match with the Blue Demons is set for 7 p.m. ET.
- DePaul is 7-17 on the season and 3-9 in BIG EAST play after losses to Marquette and Butler last week. The Blue Demons host Villanova on Friday night before welcoming the Hoyas to the Windy City.
- Jill Pressly leads DePaul with 3.65 kills per set while Maggie Jones and Ashely Cudiamat combine for 10.56 assists a frame with Jones leading the way with 5.59 aps.
- Defensively, Rachel Krasowski averages 5.02 digs a set while Aly Kindelberger is the top threat at the net with 0.99 bps.
