CHICAGO – The Georgetown University's men's basketball team (6-16, 0-11 BE) fell 82-74 to the DePaul University Blue Demons (12-10, 3-9 BE) on the road Wednesday evening at Wintrust Arena.

HOYA HIGHLIGHTS
- Rice recorded his ninth game with at least five triples, going 8-for-13 from distance for 24 points off the bench.
- Mohammed added 16 points and 10 rebounds for his seventh double-double of the season. The Hoya frosh added four assists and a trio of steals to his final line.
- Carey rounded out Hoya scorers in double figures with 12 points to go along with three rebounds and three steals.
- Harris recorded eight assists, matching a career-high set against Seton Hall (02/20/21).
- As a team, the Blue & Gray shot 44.4 percent (12-27) from deep and while outscoring DePaul off of turnovers (21-16).
- Georgetown also tallied 37 points off the bench, the most in any game this season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Following a quick Blue Demon bucket, the Hoyas responded with an 8-0 run that included triples from Carey and Holloway to take an 8-2 lead (17:10).
- Carey scored seven of the team's nine unanswered points to extend the GU edge to double digits, 19-7 (10:35).
- DePaul chipped away at the Hoya lead but a Malcolm Wilson dunk and Carey jumper kept Georgetown ahead, 28-25 (2:49).
- Rice finished off GU's first-half scoring with a triple to take a 31-30 lead into the break.
- Georgetown countered DePaul's five unanswered with a 10-0 run led by a pair of triples from Rice for a 43-39 edge (15:37).
- Carey found an open Ryan Mutombo who scored at the rim and drew the foul to give the Hoyas a 47-42 advantage (13:03).
- As the Blue & Gray hit a cold stretch, DePaul pulled ahead and took a double-digit lead (4:35).
- Georgetown made a final 15-3 run down the stretch before falling, 82-74.
