WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team sits in 11th place at the conclusion of round one and the suspension of round two due to darkness. The Hoyas carded a score of 331 in round one and will resume round two tomorrow morning. Rounds two and three will be played continuously at the par-72 San Jose Golf Club. 

HOYA RESULTS

• Sophomore Megan Gormley was GU's top scorer in round one carding a six-over par score of 78 in round one. 

• Sophomore Gabriella Gilrowski carded a nine-over par 81 in round one.

• Senior Kaitlyn Lees and Freshman Sophie Dalfonsi both carded scores of 86 in round one. 

• Junior Lauren May finished round one with a total score of 87.

TOURNAMENT LEADERS

• Campbell is in first place (309), Lipscomb and Houston Baptist were both in second place (310) at the conclusion of round one to round out the top three.

• Due to the suspension of play, the round two scores will not be finalized until tomorrow afternoon.

UP NEXT

After the completion of the final rounds of the Sea Best intercollegiate the Blue & Gray will continue on to the Northrop Grumman Invitational the weekend of March 13-15.
