WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team finished in ninth place with a 54-hole score of 87-over par 951 at the Sea Best Invitational. The Hoyas carded rounds of 331, 310 and 310 at the par-72 San Jose Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida.
HOYA RESULTS

Sophomore Megan Gormley was GU's top scorer as she tied for sixth place with scores of 78, 73 and 77.

Sophomore Gabriella Gilrowski placed tied for 44th with a total score of 241 through three rounds of play.

Senior Kaitlyn Lees finished tied for 47th place with scores of 86, 78 and 78 for a total of 242.

Freshman Sophie Dalfonsi also finished tied for 47th place with a total score of 242.

Junior Lauren May finished the Sea Best Intercollegiate with scores of 87, 82 and 83 for a total score of 252.
TOURNAMENT LEADERS

Campbell finished in first place (+33, 897), Eastern Carolina and USC Upstate both finished in second place (+52, 916) to round out the top three.

The Hoyas finished three strokes ahead of the host Dolphins (+90, 954) and five strokes ahead of Charleston Southern (+92, 956).

The Blue & Gray will return to action the weekend of March 13-14 when the squad travels to Southern California for the Northrop Grumman at Palos Verdes G.C..
