WASHINGTON – Batterymates
Nolan McCarthy and
Owen Carapellotti dazzled for the Hoyas in their 6-2 victory at Norfolk State on Saturday afternoon. The Hoyas jump to 2-3 on the season while the Spartans fall to 1-4.
"Today was about
Nolan McCarthy. He did an unbelievable job to get his first win at Georgetown. Really happy for him and our guys to bounce back after yesterday against a really good team.
Alex Rosen had two really big sacrifice bunts to put ourselves in position to score. Owen had two big two-out hits. Our team played a competitive game and we're looking forward to getting back out there tomorrow. " - Head Coach
Edwin Thompson on today's game.
