COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Georgetown University baseball team fell to No. 24 Maryland, 5-1, at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium on Monday afternoon. The Hoyas fell to 9-6 on the season while the Terrapins jumped to 13-2.
"The game was simple, their starter was amazing tonight. He did an unbelievable job keeping us off balance offensively. We had some opportunities,
Ubaldo Lopez hit a home run which was a nice bright spot and had some good guys come out of the pen, but for the most part the game was controlled by them. We'll regroup and get ready to play on Wednesday." - Head Coach
