Williams Flirts with No-No, Hoyas Hit Homer Cycle in 13-1 Win over The Mount

ROCKVILLE, Md. – Freshman Andrew Williams took a no-hitter into the eighth inning while the offense hit for the home run cycle in the Georgetown University baseball team's 13-1 win over Mount St. Mary's on Friday evening at Shirley Povich Field. The Hoyas jumped to 11-6, its best start since 2012, while the Mountaineers fell to 3-10.

"The game started and ended with Williams. An unbelievable performance as a freshman on a Friday night to toss seven innings of no-hit ball. We had a great grand slam by Christian Ficca in his first game back and Michael Eze's first college home run with a couple more sprinkled in there. Overall, we played as good as we could have and I'm very proud of what we did. What a great win on a Friday night." - Head Coach Edwin Thompson on tonight's win
