Baseball Splits Doubleheader Against Mount St. Mary’s on Sunday

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team took game one, 15-7, from Mount St. Mary's before falling in game two, 3-1, on Sunday afternoon at Straw Family Stadium. The Hoyas moved to 12-7 while the Mountaineers went to 4-11.

"I'm very proud of our guys for getting the series win after game one. Cam Meyer, Peter Marren and Jake Hyde provided timely hits and drove in runs for us while Ethan Stern scored four times. In game two, Angelo Tonas and Carter Bosch kept us in the game but unfortunately couldn't get it done. Our guys produced another winning week at 3-2 and we are looking forward to another important game on Tuesday." - Head Coach Edwin Thompson on today's doubleheader
