WASHINGTON – Sophomore
Jake Hyde dazzled with a career-high seven RBIs on Wednesday evening, falling one shy of tying the program record (8) in the Georgetown University baseball team's 9-8 setback against Delaware on the road. The Hoyas fell to 12-7 while the Blue Hens jumped to 10-8.
"The University of Delaware has a great program over there and hats off to them.
Jake Hyde was special tonight with two home runs and seven RBIs. I thought
Collin Garner gave us a great start, going five innings, and
Nick Borek gave us a shot there at the end in the seventh and eighth. Really proud of those three tonight." - Head Coach
Edwin Thompson on today's game
