WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's tennis team goes on a weekend away trip to play St. John's University and Seton Hall University. The Hoyas (4-10, 0-2 BE) face the Red Storm on Friday, March 25 at noon at the USTA National Tennis Center in Queens, N.Y. before heading to South Orange, N.J., for a match against the Pirates. Georgetown and Seton Hall are set to play at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 26.
About the Matchups
- The women's squad has won four of its last five matches, posting a 4-1 record in March. The Hoyas are seeking their first conference win of the season.
- St. John's is 8-5 this season with a 1-0 conference record after taking down Seton Hall on March 18. The Red Storm are on a three-match win streak and hold a 12-0 advantage in the matchup history against the Hoyas.
- Seton Hall has lost five-straight matches, posting an 0-2 record in the BIG EAST this season. Last time these two teams met, the Hoyas took down the Pirates 4-0 in a match on February 2, 2020, hosted in West Point, N.Y.
