WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team saw its four-game winning streak snapped with its 9-2 loss to the UMass Minutemen on Friday afternoon. The Hoyas drop to 5-4 while the Minutemen move to 1-0.
"
Andrew Williams was a bright spot, giving us five innings and eight strikeouts but we weren't able to cash in when we had the opportunities early. I give our guys credit for competing and not giving up but we have to be better from the start of the game." - Head Coach
Edwin Thompson on today's game
