COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Georgetown University baseball team dropped its Tuesday contest 19-1 to No. 18 Maryland at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium. The Hoyas fell to 26-19 overall while the Terrapins jumped to 36-9 on the year.

- Maryland jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first.
- The Hoyas responded with a run in the second on a Matsko bases-loaded walk (4-1).
- After a blank third, the Terps put up nine runs in the fourth, five runs in the sixth and two in the seventh to take a 19-1 lead.
