Volleyball Adds Vaughan Anoa’i to 2022 Roster

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team welcomes Vaughan Anoa'i to its 2022 roster, as announced by Head Coach David Heller on Tuesday. Anoa'i is the lone recruit in the incoming class as the Hoyas return 18 letterwinners from the 2021 campaign.

"We are so excited to have someone with Vaughan's background joining the team," Heller said. "She is a two-time national champion with her club team and was named to the all-tournament team at nationals in Phoenix. Vaughan adds a great presence at the net for us in the middle. Her blocking will have an immediate impact in training. She is really disciplined in this skill and prides herself in it. Vaughan also has many great leadership qualities that will allow her to mesh with the team right away. It is tough being a class of one, but Vaughan is always up for a challenge and is ready to go to work. We are thrilled to have her joining us on the Hilltop and bring in her wealth of experience and volleyball knowledge."
