WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team dropped its final nonconference match of the season 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 26-24) against UC Santa Barbara on Saturday night in California. The Hoyas fall to 2-9 overall while the Gauchos improve to 4-6.
 
Hoya Highlights

• Mary Grace Goyena led the Hoyas with 11 kills while Giselle Williams had 10.
• Emma Plutnicki recorded 15 assists and added four digs.
• Defensively, Karis Park hauled in 14 digs while Jessica Cusi had 10 and Goyena added eight.
• At the net, the Hoyas outblocked UCSB 9-3 behind five rejections from Wilhite and four more from Smith.

UCSB Notes

• Michelle Ohwobete led the Gauchos with 14 kills while Tallulah Froley added 12.
• Mehana Ma'a and Megan Shimoda combined for 36 assists.
• Macall Peed and Brianna McCall had 19 and 14 digs, respectively.
