WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-13, 25-10, 25-11) on the road at No. 22 Creighton in the 2022 BIG EAST opener on Friday night. The Hoyas drop to 2-10 overall and 1-0 in league play while the Bluejays move to 9-3 overall and 1-0 in BIG EAST action.
 
Hoya Highlights

• Mary Grace Goyena led Georgetown with seven kills while Giselle Williams added five.
• Goyena also collected a team-high 14 digs with Karis Park hauling in 10.
• At the net, the Hoyas outblocked Creighton 8-3 on the night with Brennan Wilhite being credited with six rejections and Peyton Wilhite adding four.

Creighton Notes

• Norah Sis led the Bluejays with 11 kills while Ava Martin added 10.
• Kendra Wait paced the CU offense with 34 assists to go with 11 digs for a double-double.
• Allison Whitten led all players with 19 digs while Keeley Davis had 10.
