WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team is currently in 17th place following two rounds at the Coeur d'Alene Collegiate Invitational among the field of 19 that made their way to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The Hoyas have a two-day score of 36-over 604 (294-310) on the par-71, 6,085-yard course at the Coeur d'Alene Resort.
ABOUT THE HOYAS
- Megan Gormley and Lauren May each carded 6-over 77s in the second round with steady play among the two. Gormley is currently tied for 38th place (+6, 70-77=147). May birdied on 15 and is tied for 58th place (+9, 74-77=151).
- Angela Lee had more of a back-and-forth day with birdies on 6, 15 and 17. Following two days, the freshman is tied for 70th at 11 over (75-78=153).
- Gabriella Gilrowski is also tied for 70th with a matching two-day score (+11, 75-78=153) to Lee. Starting on the back nine, Gilrowski opened the front nine with a birdie on hole 1.
- Elena Zheng is currently tied for 89th following back-to-back days of 8-over 89s (+16, 89-89=158). She led the squad with birdies on the day as she tallied four at 7, 9, 12 and 14.
