WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-10) decision on the road at Xavier in BIG EAST action on Sunday afternoon. The Hoyas fall to 2-11 overall and 0-2 in league play while the Musketeers move to 9-3 overall and 2-0 in BIG EAST action.
 
Hoya Highlights

• Mary Grace Goyena led Georgetown with a match-best 12 kills while Giselle Williams added four and Brennan Wilhite, Peyton Wilhite and Chanelle Smith each had three.
• Lilly Costigan had 20 assists on the afternoon with five digs and a service ace.
• Defensively, Karis Park hauled in a team-high 10 digs and Smith was credited with a pair of blocks.

Xavier Notes

• Brooklyn Cink and MaryAnn O'Toole both posted 11 kills to lead the Musketeers.
• Cink had a double-double with 13 digs while Carrigan O'Reilly also had a double-double with 36 assists and 10 digs.
• Hunter Fry was credited with six blocks in the win.
