WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team returns home to the friendly confines of McDonough Arena to host Seton Hall and St. John's for a pair of BIG EAST matches this weekend. The Hoyas welcome the Pirates to the Hilltop on Friday before taking on the Red Storm on Saturday in the District.

Scouting Seton Hall
- Friday's action against the Pirates is set for 5 p.m. and will be broadcasted live on the BIG EAST Digital Network Presented by SoFi on FloSports. Click here for special University pricing.
- Seton Hall is 11-3 on the season, 2-0 in BIG EAST play, and is coming off of a pair of five-set league wins over UConn and Providence.
- Jenna Walsh leads the Pirates with 3.15 kills per set while Peri Lucas and Bianca Bucciarelli add 2.70 and 2.65 kps, respectively.
- Maddie Klungel and Taylor Jakubowski split setting duties and average 4.92 and 4.71 assists per set, respectively.
- Defensively, Anna Holand anchors the back row with 4.26 digs per set. Asli Subasili is the top threat at the net averaging 1.12 blocks a stanza.
- Georgetown and Seton Hall have faced each other 54 times in program history dating back to 1982. The Hoyas own a 33-21 all-time record in the series but their last win against the Pirates came in 2018.
Scouting St. John's
- Saturday's showdown with the Red Storm is set for 5 p.m.
- St. John's is 11-4 on the season and is also 2-0 in BIG EAST play with wins over UConn and Providence.
- Rachele Rastelli leads the Johnnies with 4.25 kills per set while Giorgia Walther is right behind her with 4.16 kps.
- Wiktoria Kowalczyk paces the offense with 11.16 assists a frame.
- Defensively, Bree Martin averages 3.10 digs per while Ariana Robinson's 1.40 blocks per set is tops at the net.
- Rastelli was also named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week following wins over the Huskies and Friars.
- Saturday's match will be the 35th all-time between the two programs as St. John's holds a 24-10 series advantage. Georgetown's last win over SJU came in a five-set thriller at home in 2018.
