WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's soccer team announced its 2023 spring schedule on Monday afternoon.  The Hoyas will play five games including the annual Spring Soccer Cup hosted by Wake Forest on April 16 and culminating with William & Mary at Shaw Field on April 22.
 
Spring Soccer Cup

• The Spring Soccer Cup features 10 of the elite programs in college soccer including recent College Cup qualifiers and NCAA Champions.
• The 10 schools include Georgetown, Clemson, Wake Forest, North Carolina, Duke, NC State, Maryland, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Pitt.
• Together, these 10 programs over the last four seasons have combined to earn 31 NCAA Tournaments bids, seven College Cup appearances and two National Championships.
• Each program will participate in three matches in league play prior to arriving in Winston-Salem for the final event.
• At the end of the three league matches, the finals matches at Spry Stadium will be determined with the 10 programs being seeded. Shuffling amongst the seeds can be done if a repeat opponent is scheduled.
• Three points will be awarded for a win in regulation. If matches remain tied after 90 minutes, the opponents will go directly into penalty kicks with the winning team earning two points and the losing side being awarded one point.

Schedule Notes

• All four scheduled opponents were not part of the 2022 campaign.
• Home games against Virginia Tech and William & Mary are scheduled to take place at Shaw Field.

• 3/25 Virginia Tech - 3 p.m.
• 4/1 at Duke - 1 p.m.
• 4/16 at Spring Soccer Cup – TBA
• 4/22 William & Mary - 12 p.m.
