WASHINGTON – Following one round of action on the par-72, 6-218-yard Jubilee Course at St Andrews Links, the Georgetown University women's golf team is currently tied for third place at 16-over 376. The three-day St Andrews Links Collegiate, the first iteration of the event, is being held at the Home of Golf in St Andrews, Scotland through Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Morgan Smith is currently in second place after carding an even 72 for the day. Smith tallied five birdies on the day, including three over the course of four holes (3-6) to go along with 10 pars.
- Georgia Ruffolo sits at 4-over 76, which is good enough to tie for 12th place. She closed the front nine with back-to-back birdies and recorded 12 pars on the day.
- Vilda Westh Blanc is also tied for 12th at 4-over 76, tallying back-to-back birdies on the front nine while also recording 11 pars.
- Jiaying Lai also finds herself in a tie for 12th at 4-over 76 with one birdie to her credit and 13 pars.
- Angela Lee is the fourth Hoya at 4-over 76 to tie for 12th, also recording a pair of birdies on the front nine as well as 11 pars on the day.
- Megan Gormley closed the day at 6-over 78 to sit in 19th place. Gormley tallied a pair of birdies to go with 10 pars for the day.
