WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball program (14-15, 5-12) defeated the UConn Huskies (7-22, 2-15) on the road Friday night (22-25, 25-20, 18-25,2 25-23, 15-11). The Hoyas complete a double over UConn, having beaten them 3-1 at home on October 7th.

Karis Park
Hoya Highlights:
- Karis Park had a season-high 26 digs on the libero's way to passing 1,000 career digs for the Hoyas. Park also added two aces and three assists.
- Peyton Wilhite had another stellar all-around performance, leading the team in kills (19), blocks (5), and ranking second in digs (11).
- Maria Filippova continues to impress as a freshman, helping defeat the Huskies with a career-high 17 kills.
- Emily Wen set a career high with 56 assists as the freshman passed 1,000 total on the season.
UConn Notes:
- Graduate student Cera Powell had a match-high 22 kills.
- UConn outblocked the Hoyas 12-8. Carly Furlong had a match-high six while Taylor Pannell added five.
- Doga Kutlu contributed on both ends with 55 assists and 12 digs
