Swimming & Diving Breaks School Records at First Day of Brown Invite

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's and women's swimming & diving team set three new school records on the first day of the Brown invite on Friday evening.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Shaun Kronenwetter, Bailey De Luise, Grant Closson and Connor Brennan finished in third while setting a new program record in the 200 free with a time of 1:24.26.
Kronenwetter broke another school record in the 50 free with a time of 20.41. He placed second in the B final.
Nicolas Santiago finished second in the 1m dive with a score of 301.30, earning his second NCAA Zone qualifying score.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Erin Hood earned a second place finish while also setting a new program record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:01.47.
Hood, Maddie Haley, Madeline Malone and Genevieve Youngman finished in third in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:44.89.
