WASHINGTON - Georgetown swimming & diving will send
Owen Watkins to the 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming & Diving Championships in Atlanta, Georgia to compete in the 50 free on March 27.

About Watkins
- At the 2026 BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Championship, Watkins defended his gold medal from a season ago and made Georgetown history in the 50-yard freestyle clocking a 19.21.
- His time was a program record and also qualified him for the NCAA Championships.
- In that BIG EAST meet, the men's team captured its fifth-consecutive title and Watkins earned All-BIG EAST honors in three individual events as well as three relays.
- He won three individual golds and was named the Men's Most Outstanding Swimmer of the Year.
- Watkins becomes the first Hoya swimmer to qualify for the NCAA Championship in program history.
