WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's and women's swimming & diving teams broke eight school records while placing second at the Brown Invite over the weekend. The women's team finished with a score of 831.50 while the men earned a score of 820. 

ON THE RECORD
"This was a great way to end our first semester of competition. We saw some really great results over the three days against some really tough competition. There was a lot to learn and we look forward to applying it as we prepare for the BIG EAST Championship in February." - said Head Coach Jack Leavitt on the meet. 

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS 

• Bailey De Luise grabbed a fourth place finish while setting a new school record in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 54.22. 
• In the 200 fly, Jordan Gross finished first in the C final to set a new program record with a time of 1:47.81.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Erin Hood, Lindsey Wagner, Genevieve Youngman and Madeline Malone set a new school record with their second place finish in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:41.01.
• In the 200 free, Maddie Bauer broke the GU record with a third place finish with a time of 1:48.76.
• Kira Agne captured a first place victory in the 1650 free with a time of 16:50.94. 
• Hood finished first in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:14.57.
