WASHINGTON – Georgetown University women's basketball senior
Kelsey Ransom was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after the Hoyas went 2-0 in nonconference play this past week. This is the first time this season Ransom has earned a nod.

- Ransom averaged 17.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and a BIG EAST-best 4.5 steals in a 2-0 West Coast road swing.
- She had 15 points, six rebounds and six steals at Pepperdine in a 59-40 victory on Friday.
- On Sunday against Cal State Fullerton, Ransom managed 20 points and three steals in the 65-55 win.
- Ransom is 10th in the league in scoring (15.7 ppg), 11th in rebounding (6.8 rpg), eighth in assists (3.7 apg) and leads the league with an impressive 3.3 steals per game.
- This is her first nod to the honor roll this season and the fifth of her career.
