WASHINGTON – Georgetown University women's basketball junior
Brianna Scott was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after the Hoyas went 1-0 in nonconference play this past week. This is the first time this season that Scott has earned a nod.

- Scott scored a game high 21 points at Colgate to lead the Hoyas to a 61-40 victory marking GU's sixth win in a row.
- She was 7-of-9 from the field and added eight rebounds, two blocks and three steals.
- The junior is third on the team in scoring with 8.9 ppg.
- Scott ranks 13th in the league in rebounding with 6.6 rpg, she is also tied for third in blocked shots averaging 1.4 per game.
- This is her first nod to the honor roll of her career and the third for the Hoyas this season.
- GU's 8-1 record ties the best start for the Hoyas since the BIG EAST Conference began sponsoring women's basketball. The best start in program history dates back to a 16-1 record to open the 1979-80 campaign.
- The last time Georgetown won six-consecutive games was the 2016-17 season.
