East Meadow, N.Y. – Georgetown University's men's and women's swimming & diving teams medaled in four events, including a gold medal to break a Georgetown school record in the men's 200 medley relay with a time of 1:27.60 on day one of the BIG EAST Championships in East Meadow, New York on Wednesday evening.

"Always really good to get out to a fast start," said head coach
Jack Leavitt. "It's a lot of nerves, a lot of expectation. The team handled it really well. I love how we ended with the 200 medleys. The divers really stepped up big all day. We're excited for the rest of the weekend."
