WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's tennis team (3-2) went 1-1 on the road in North Carolina this weekend. The Hoyas picked up a 4-3 win over East Carolina University (2-3) before dropping a 7-0 match to No. 4 Duke University (7-0).

Avantika Willy put the Hoyas up 2-0 after shutting down Isabella Rivera Ortiz 6-1, 6-1. After dropping three singles points,

Olivia Ashton knocked down their opponents to successfully clinch the win for the Hoyas.
