WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's lacrosse team earned its first home victory of the season with a 13-12 win over visiting Richmond on Saturday afternoon. The 20th-ranked Hoyas trailed 8-4 early in the third quarter and outscored the Spiders 9-4 the rest of the game en route to the win. Georgetown improves to 2-3 on the season while Richmond drops to 4-3 overall.

How it Happened
- Richmond jumped on the board first before back-to-back goals from Dordevic and Bundy gave the Hoyas their first lead at 2-1. The Spiders would add another goal in the opening frame to make it 2-2 after the first.
- The Spiders outscored the Hoyas 5-2 in the second to take a 7-4 lead going into halftime.
- Coming out of the break, Richmond scored again in the opening minute of the second half to take an 8-4 lead before the Blue & Gray began to mount their comeback. Three-straight goals from the Hoyas by Crogan, Minicus and Dordevic in a 90 second span cut the deficit to just one at 8-7. Trading goals down the stretch, Doredevic would score his fourth goal of the game with 41 seconds remaining in the third to knot things up at 10-10 going into the final 15 minutes of action.
- A Minicus goal just over a minute into the fourth gave the Hoyas their first lead since it was 2-1 at 11-10, but the Spiders responded with consecutive scores to retake the lead 12-11 with 10 minutes to play. Solomon nailed the equalizer on a man-up situation at the 8:26 mark before scoring the game-winner with 5:35 to go off a rebound of his own shot following a failed clear by Richmond.

- Aidan O'Neill led the Spiders with three goals and two assists while Joe Sheridan added three goals as well.
- Jared Chenoy won 17 of 28 faceoffs and hauled in nine ground balls.
- In goal, Zach Vigue collected 19 saves in the loss.

- Bowen moves into a tie for sixth all-time in career caused turnovers at Georgetown, matching Michael Mayer ('17) with 42.
