STATE COLLEGE – The Georgetown University baseball team fell 6-1 to Penn State in State College, Pennsylvania on Saturday. Game two of the series is slated for noon tomorrow at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
ON THE RECORD
"Great job by Penn State today they scored when they needed to. Their two starters were very effective and really controlled the game in different manners. We had a lot of guys on base we just couldn't cash in today and unfortunately, against a good team on the road, you have to cash in early and we didn't do that today. I was happy to see
Kyle Salley and
Cody Jensen come out of the bullpen and give us some stops when we needed it, we just couldn't cash in offensively. We are ready to get back out here tomorrow for game two." - Head Coach
Edwin Thompson
