ON THE RECORD
"I am just really proud of this group today.
Andrew Williams gave us a great start and he has been doing that all Saturdays for us and our pitching staff today was outstanding. They had 19 strikeouts which is a school record, and we were able to play solid defense behind them today.
Ubaldo Lopez once again had a big hit for us and was able to help load the bases later in the game when we scored the winning run and that is a testament to his preparation and experience. Really proud of our guys' effort and happy to win the series today. We are looking forward to getting back out here tomorrow to try and win game three." - Head Coach
