ON THE RECORD
"What a great performance by our team. What a great job by our guys this week going 4-1 and winning our first ever home series against Creighton was special. Jake Bloss was outstanding today giving us a great chance early on and finished the job going all seven innings. Michael Eze again had the big home run to put us up in the fourth and that is all we needed. The fifth inning was what our offense can be, and we didn't try to do too much and we took what they gave us. Just a great offensive day and the middle of the lineup was stellar. We played clean defense and overall, just really pleased with our team's performance. Proud of our organization and our guys and how we stuck with it this week. It was a long week with five games and Creighton is a good ball team that is really well coached, and we knew it was going to be a challenge so I am just really proud of this group. We look forward to getting ready to go on Wednesday for a midweek against Mount St. Mary's." - Head Coach Edwin Thompson
